About Me
Haley Morton is a writer and editor with a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing and a graduate certificate in professional and technical writing. She received an undergraduate degree from the same university in behavioral healthcare, which has largely informed her career in communications. This field has become her passion as it allows her to find ways to build connections between people.

Her work experience includes her current role as communications coordinator for Detail Planners, a corporate event planning company in Tampa, FL. This is a fast-paced position that demands a close eye for detail and ability to write a wide variety of content. She also taught undergraduate English courses for three years at the University of South Florida. As a teacher she had to truly get to the root of what makes good communication work and be able to translate that to her students. During this time, she was also an administrator and editor for Richter Publishing, LLC, where she edited full-length manuscripts, designed outreach material, and coordinated contact with authors.
